British Retail Consortium (BRC) Standard
The BRC ( British Retail Consortium ) developed this technical standard
for companies supplying retailer branded food products. It is widely
recognised and acknowledged as being the common basis for retailers to
fulfil their legal obligations in supplying safe food to the consumers
under the Food Safety Act 1990.
